Biography
Mrs. Autumn Frampton received a Bachelor of Social and Behavioral Sciences from The Ohio State University in 2003, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2010. She has served as the Associate Director of Academic Support Services in the Office of Multicultural Development at The University of Akron since September 2012. One of her primary roles at OMD is to coordinate Peer Mentoring Services and to lead OMD’s team of Peer Mentors. Mrs. Frampton also serves as an Academic Adviser and Assistant Lecturer at The University of Akron, teaching The Akron Experience: University 101 course, a course designed to help first-year students acquire skills, techniques, information, and strategies necessary to successfully transition from high school or work to the college environment. She is passionate about social justice activism and has over 16 years of experience advocating for and/or advising diverse groups of individuals in non-profit and higher education sectors.
Outside of the professional arena, Mrs. Frampton is married and parenting seven children. In her “spare” time, she enjoys a variety of family activities and outings, relaxing and watching an assortment of different television series, reading and listening to music, hanging out with her dogs (five of them... four rescues), and traveling and experiencing new adventures with her family as much as possible!
