Computer Science student receives award to attend international conference

Michael Decker, a research assistant in the Department of Computer Science, has been awarded a $750 travel stipend from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for the 27th IEEE International Conference on Software Maintenance (ICSM 2011) in Williamsburg, Virginia from September 25 - 30, 2011.

In addition to attending the general conference, he will also be attending and participating in the co-located Eleventh IEEE International Working Conference on Source Code Analysis and Manipulation (SCAM 2011) where he has a paper with his advisor, Dr. Michael Collard, an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science.
