Office of Accessibility honors math professor for instruction, support

The Office of Accessibility recently honored Dr. J. Patrick Wilber, associate professor of theoretical and applied mathematics, with its first Faculty Spotlight recognition.

The Office of Accessibility acknowledges faculty members who provide outstanding instruction and academic support. They realize that at the core of student success are faculty members who go above and beyond meeting the unique needs of a diverse student population.

The Faculty Spotlight allows students the opportunity to identify faculty advocates who use universal design practices in the classroom, including the recognition of diverse learning styles.Wilber's nominator noted "Dr. Wilber does an outstanding job of accomodating students with disabilities, while maintaining a challenging and positive learning environments for everyone."
