Sonal Bhadauriya receives SPE Polymer Modifiers and Additives Division (PMAD) award

Congratulations to Sonal Bhadauriya (advisor Dr. Alamgir Karim) who was recently awarded $2,500 from the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE).

She received this award for her essay titled “How Do Imprinted Polymer Nanocomposite Surfaces Relax? – A Tale of Entropy- Enthalpy Compensation”. The objective of this essay and scholarship award program is to reward students interested in the field of additives and modifiers for plastics.

The Polymer Modifiers and Additives Division (PMAD) award sponsors the participation of students in the Society of Plastics Engineers annual technical meeting (ANTEC 2019, Detroit), having a significant polymer modifiers and plastic additives component, to grow the students’ education in polymer/plastics engineering.
