Jordan Collins (pictured above) demonstrated the caliber of UA’s Geosciences program when she presented her undergraduate Honors Thesis research at the American Geophysical Union (AGU) meeting in December 2024, held in Washington, D.C.

The AGU meeting is one of the largest gatherings of Earth and space science professionals, bringing together experts and emerging scholars to share discoveries and advance innovative solutions for pressing environmental challenges. Presenting at this event is a notable achievement, underscoring the high-quality research opportunities available to students in the Geosciences program equipping them with hands-on research opportunities, mentorship from faculty, and platforms to engage with leading scientific communities.
