I would highly recommend studying abroad during your career at The University of Akron. My trip to France was life-changing. I felt that the trip was well organized, and I was able to come away with a lot of memories. Between the classroom experience and the life-long friendships, studying abroad was definitely an experience I will never forget.

I never thought that I would study abroad. I was scared to go outside my comfort zone and simply thought that it wasn't for me. But going on the 2019 France study abroad trip was one of the best decisions I ever made. I learned so much, not only about the French culture, history, and customs, but also about myself. I gained confidence in my problem solving and communication skills. I learned to take risks and let go. I also made unforgettable memories trying new food, seeing amazing places, and meeting new people. My three weeks in France were undoubtedly some of the best of my life and I would recommend this trip to everyone

This trip was amazing! We explored so many places I never would have gone on my own, we got to meet and work with students from Akron and France, and we got to eat incredible food from all over the country. There were so many times during the trip when would pause and just be blown away by the opportunity I had to be there. If you get the chance to go on this trip, do it.
