You & the Roo Shadow Program
Intrigued by campus life at UA? Admitted high school seniors have the chance to shadow a current UA student during UA’s spring semester, January through April, each year. Every effort is made to pair guests with hosts in the same academic major. However, if a match can’t be made, the prospective student has the option of a special appointment with the department of their intended major.
The visit is free for prospective students; a lunch pass and Student Union game room pass also are provided. So, the full experience of an Akron student can be taken for a “test drive!” Please note the student must be a senior in high school and admitted to UA. Also, these visits are scheduled during the spring semester (January through April) only. If you are interested in participating, please e-mail the Office of Admissions at email@example.com.
