My involvement with sustainability initiatives brought to light the developments happening on campus, gave me opportunity to thrive at UA, and opened doors for my career. Organizations on campus recognize that interdisciplinary collaboration is necessary to produce efficient solutions... These groups allowed me to explore the issues facing our environment while combating them with action. UA blends academics with passion, and for me, this is sustainability. Sharing this passion has brought me close to many faculty members and students that want to create a healthier life for future generations.”
