Leadership Programs

Part of the mission of the Department of Student Life is to build leaders to be good citizens at UA and beyond.  We do that through providing group leadership development for student organizations and leadership consultations for individuals seeking one on one coaching.

Leadership consultation forms can be found here!

Once per month, organization leaders and individuals are invited to participate in a one-hour training session, called Skills Shop, to sharpen their leadership skills to be better leaders.  Topics are chosen by the Office of Civic Engagement and Leadership Programs, but suggestions are welcome!

Sign up for a Skills Shop here!

The mission of the Department of Student Life is to Engage with campus, Serve the Akron community, and Lead your fellow Zips.  That’s why every spring, Student Life hosts a weeklong series of programs designed to help all students Engage, Serve, and Lead.  Engage Serve Lead Week provides collaborative, informative, and fun programming that hits all level of student leadership needs.
