Women’s Studies focuses spring lecture series on spirituality

“Women and Spirituality” will be the theme of The University of Akron Women’s Studies Program’s 2010 spring lecture series. The spiritual lives of women from medieval through modern times will be examined at the Tuesday evening events, which are free and open to the public. The lectures will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in UA’s Whitby Hall, Room 210.

“Spirituality is an important part of many women’s lives, whether as part of organized religion or as an individual practice,” says Patricia A. Millhoff, director of the Women’s Studies Program. “This lecture series will provide a forum in which women’s spirituality can be fully examined.”
