The University of Akron Workforce Development and Continuing Education and Business Volunteers Unlimited (BVU) Center for Nonprofit Excellence will offer a one-day grant-writing seminar 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at the BVU Center for Nonprofit Excellence, 703 S. Main St. Suite 200, Akron.
Topics cover researching and finding grants, budgets and performance metrics.
