UA Audiology and Speech Center hosting free hearing aid seminar

Having trouble hearing? Do you think you need hearing aids but don't know where to start?

The University of Akron's Audiology and Speech Center is hosting a free information seminar, "What You Need to Know Before Purchasing Hearing Aids," on Wednesday, July 20, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

The seminar will cover:

  • General information about hearing and hearing loss.
  • How to determine if you need hearing aids.
  • General information about hearing aids and how they work.
  • Which hearing aid would be right for you (style, level of technology, cost, features, etc.).
  • Answers to other questions you have.

The seminar will be in Room 181 of the Polsky Building, 225 S. Main St., on the UA campus. Convenient parking will be available in the West Campus Parking Deck.
