Golfers to raise scholarship funds for hospitality management students

The Eighth Annual Hospitality Scholarship Golf Tournament to support the Donald L. Patterson Hospitality Scholarship will be held Friday, May 13, at J.E. Good Park Golf Course, 530 Nome Ave., Akron, beginning at 10 a.m.

The registration price of $60 per person includes lunch, refreshments, 18 holes of golf and golf cart use. The deadline for reservations is Friday, April 29.

The tournament is hosted by the Akron/Summit Convention and Visitors Bureau. Proceeds will help fund scholarships for students in The University of Akron Summit College Hospitality Management program. For details, call 330-374-8945 or download the registration form.
