Golf tournament to support hospitality management scholarship

The Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau is hosting the seventh annual Hospitality Scholarship Golf Tournament to support UA’s Summit College hospitality management students. The May 14 event kicks off with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. at J.E. Good Park Golf Course, 530 Nome Ave., Akron, Ohio. Singles, twosomes and foursomes are invited for a full day of golf, food and door prize opportunities.

The tournament will support the Donald L. Patterson Hospitality Scholarship. Registration covers lunch, refreshments, 18 holes of golf and a cart rental. The cost is $60 per person. Registration ends Friday, April 30.
