Bonnie Keiper, coordinator of general education speech courses in the School of Communication at The University of Akron, has been appointed to the Ohio Board of Regents’ Transfer Module Faculty Review Panel.
As a panel member, Keiper will help to implement a comprehensive course equivalency structure throughout the university system of Ohio. The system is composed of 14 public universities, 24 branch campuses, 23 community colleges, and more than 120 adult workforce education centers and training programs across the state. Together, the institutions serve more than a half-million students.
A resident of Sugar Bush Knolls in Portage County, Keiper has taught for 19 years at UA.
