Polymer Engineering Ph.D. student wins "Best Paper Award" at SPE ANTEC 2005

Michael Gintert, a Ph.D. student of Polymer Engineering working under the supervision of Prof. Sadhan C. Jana received Best Paper Award for the paper "Nanoclay exfoliation in thermoset polyimides" from Composites Division of Society of Plastics Engineers at its Annual Technical Conference (ANTEC) during May 1-4, 2005 in Boston, MA. Both Michael and Prof. Jana were present at the award reception at ANTEC to receive a commemorative plaque. Co-authors on this paper were Sandi Miller of NASA Glenn Research Center and Prof. Jana of the University of Akron.
