Dr. Todd Lewis is joining the UA community as the Process Engineering Specialist for the National Polymer Innovation Center. He will be overseeing the processing equipment and working with students as well as industrial customers.
He is a University of Akron alum, graduating from the Department of Polymer Engineering under Dr. Avraam Isayev, where he focused on the processing and characterization of CNT filled high temperature resins. Todd comes to CPSPE with over 5 years of industry experience, most recently with A-dec Inc., in Newberg, OR.
Todd, his wife Angela, and their children returned to the Northeast Ohio region after spending the last several years near Portland, Oregon.
