Congratulations, Spring Class of 2020! 

We can't wait to celebrate your success in person as soon as conditions permit. 

In the meantime, UA invites you to campus for a drive-through opportunity to collect your diploma cover, applicable honors medallion(s) and/or academic cord(s), a recognition booklet, and more. 

Distribution will take place Friday, May 29, and Saturday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the Jean Hower Taber Student Union loop. 

If you can’t pick up your items yourself, you may send a friend or family member on your behalf. If distance is a problem or no one is available, items will be shipped later to your diploma address listed in My Akron Student Center (or home if a diploma address is not specified). 

A volunteer will approach your car at a safe distance in the roundabout, ask your name, and provide you with a UA tote bag containing your appropriate items. No RSVP is needed. You may arrive at any time during the scheduled pick-up periods. For the safety of all concerned, please remain in your vehicle. 

The gold arrows on the map below show the entry point at the intersection of Sumner Street and East Exchange Street, by McDonald’s and Chipotle. Continue along the road, turn right onto Carroll Street, and follow it to the Taber Student Union loop. Collect your items, then continue straight on Carroll Street, turning either right onto Wolf Ledges Parkway, or continue straight onto Wolf Ledges where you can loop back to Exchange Street.
