Compliance and Risk Management Office
At The University of Akron, we are committed to the highest integrity. This includes meeting our compliance obligations and protecting the University and its community members.
Compliance and risk management are integral to our University’s operations, the fulfillment of our mission and vision, and achievement of our strategic goals. In the Compliance and Risk Management Office, we lead the University’s integrated compliance and risk management program and resources. We collaborate closely with the University’s leadership and many other subject matter team members across our campuses.
We rise together at The University of Akron. We work together to ensure that the University meets its compliance obligations, mitigates identified risks, and addresses issues when they arise with integrity and transparency.
Our team is available for anyone who would like additional information about compliance and risk management, locate the team member(s) supporting a particular compliance area, or who has other any compliance questions or concerns. The University has a helpline for reporting concerns which can be done anonymously.
