Risk Management
We strive to promote the safety of our community members and protect property and other assets of the University. At the highest level, the University takes an “enterprise” approach to risk management. We have a process-driven and dynamic system to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks that could disrupt the University’s operations or prevent us from achieving our strategic goals. For these types of “top” risks to the University, we take a strategic and collective approach to communicating, mitigating and preparing for risk events (should they occur).
We also have specific systems and processes in place to address various risk areas at the University (for examples, health and safety, environmental, security, and information technology).
The University also expects that all members of our community will conduct their activities with the highest sense of responsibility for their own safety and well-being, the safety and well-being of others, and the protection of University property and other assets.
