Insurance

The Compliance and Risk Management Office also helps steward and protect the University’s property and other assets (tangible and intangible) through a comprehensive insurance program.  Some of the coordination and services provided by our office include:

• Securing and maintaining the requisite insurance coverage for the University, its employees, and its activities
• Assisting with additional coverage needs, such as international travel, special events, liquor liability, vehicle rental, and student internships and practicums
• Maintaining and providing copies of the University’s certificates of insurance
• Revising and advising on contract provisions about the University’s insurance program
• Handling and resolving insurance coverage claims
