Students get up-close-and-personal with the history of psychology by touring the Center. Students make their way through the self-guided gallery, which features artifacts from the history of psychology, including Stanley Milgram’s simulated shock generator, items from the Stanford Prison Experiment, and a display on psychology and civil rights. Students are also taken on a tour of the CCHP, including the collections storage areas, which contain the Center’s vast holdings of manuscripts, media, and artifacts. To book a group tour, contact Dorothy Gruich by email (gruich@uakron.edu) or telephone (330-972- 7284). Instructors should allot approximately 2 hours for the gallery and tour |
