Daniel K. Lewis, MA ’79, was named chief operating officer of the MetroHealth System in January. Lewis joined MetroHealth in 2007 and previously served as executive vice president and chief of staff.
Carla D. Moore, BA ’74, a judge with Ohio’s 9th District Court of Appeals, was the 2015 recipient of the Akron Bar Association’s Judicial Pioneer Award.
Susan L. Simpson, BS ’76, currently serves as the Worthy Grand Matron of the Ohio Grand Chapter-Order of Eastern Star. Order of the Eastern Star is a philanthropic organization open to men and women with more than 500,000 members in chapters worldwide.
Thomas L. Fishback, BS ’87, PhD ’92, was named vice president of research and development at Demilec, one of North America’s largest manufacturers of spray foam insulation and polyuria products.
John W. Stull, BSCHe ’83, was elected chairman of the 2014-15 Portland Cement Association board of directors. Stull serves as CEO of Lafarge North America, where his career spans 22 years.
Rebecca A. Corbin, MPA ’91, was appointed president and CEO of the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship, the nation’s leading organization focused on promoting entrepreneurship through community colleges.
Lisa A. Evangelista, BSA ’92, became CEO of Fairfield Community Health Center in January 2015.
Hollie A. Kozak, MAED ’91, manager of Summa Center for Sports Health, was named to the Ohio Athletic Trainers’ Association Hall of Fame. Kozak will be formally inducted at an awards banquet in May 2015.
Aaron L. Lenart, AAS ’91, is the new fire chief in Rocky River, Ohio. Lenart took the helm in January 2015.
Shane M. Leuthold, JD ’98, was appointed a judge on the Crawford County Municipal Court by Governor John Kasich. Leuthold assumes the office on March 30, 2015.
Mary C. Nuosce, MSED ’92, PhD ’07, was named dean of the Nichols School of Professional Studies at Hodges University.
Marshal M. Pitchford, JD ’99, has been honored for the fifth consecutive year by Best Lawyer magazine, the oldest and most highly respected peer-review guide to the legal profession. He was recognized for his work in the fields of commercial litigations and transportation law. Pitchford is a partner with the firm of DiCaudo, Pitchford & Yoder LLC.
Heather N. Scott, BS ’94, began duties as Idaho District 1A representative in January 2015.
Carol A. Baskey, BS ’02, MBA ’05, joined RPM International Inc. in January 2015 as manager of financial reporting. Baskey will be responsible for supporting internal and external financial reporting, various financial analysis projects, and cash flow statement preparation and analysis.
Jill Flagg Lanzinger, JD ’04, was appointed by Gov. John Kasich as a judge for Barberton Municipal Court.
Robert T. Lehr, BFA ’08, is the newly named director of marketing and communications for the Canton Museum of Art. Lehr is responsible for the day-today management of marketing and branding, advertising, public relations, social media, and exhibit programs, as well as membership development, special events, and fundraising support.
Sherry L. Neubert, BSIM ’05, is vice president and chief information officer for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., effective April 2015. Since joining Goodyear in 2002, Neubert has held various leadership roles in the company’s information technology operations and most recently was vice president of Global Project Management.
Warren R. Price, JD ’04, was named city manager by the Dayton City Commission in January 2015.
Scott J. Swain, MT ’00, has joined Skoda Minotti, a national CPA, financial, and business advisory firm, as a partner in the Tax Planning and Preparation Group. Swain will work with individual clients, flow-through entities, LLCs, partnerships, and S Corps. He also will assist clients of Skoda Minotti Financial Services and Aurum Wealth Management.
Tony V. Bouie, MSED ’11, was appointed executive director of the Arizona State Lottery by Gov. Doug Ducey in February 2015.
