ZipAssist events and programming are all about supporting you throughout your time at UA by connecting you with on-campus resources while you're on the path towards graduation!

ROO-BOOST
Join at any time during the semester!
Meet with a peer to address motivation through accountability, goal-setting and resource sharing. Students can choose all or some from the following categories: financial, academic, personal, involvement, wellness.

RADical Health
The RADical Health program invites students to join weekly conversations for four weeks. Conversations are led by a trained UA guide and together, the group will walk through a series of topics such as stress management, goal setting, campus resources, and personal growth.
Students wishing to join a small group can contact aball@uakron.edu for information about the next session.

Garden Watering @ The Campus Community Garden

The Campus Cupboard operates an on-campus community garden! The space is feeding student success by growing fresh produce and herbs for enrolled UA students.
The garden is watered twice daily. If you'd like to help water the garden (approx. 1 hour), register below. Please be aware that there are bees in the space!
**Campus Cupboard kindly requests that members of the community not harvest food without the permission of the Campus Cupboard staff. The majority of the food/herbs in the space are designated for students to access through the walk-in food pantry, located in Simmons Hall.

Roo-Store

Currently enrolled UA students can shop between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. *while supplies last
Faculty & Staff Welcome from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.
The Campus Cupboard will host a pop-up Roo-Store on campus for the UA community! Come shop for home and dorm items, such as lamps, toasters, wall décor, pots/pans, small desk chairs, storage containers, kitchen appliances or small tables.
Want to Donate? Drop small items off to the Simmons Hall front desk anytime M-F from 8 am - 4:30 pm. For larger items, please contact us at cupboard@uakron.edu to arrange a drop off time.

Items purchased August 16-19 can be delivered to Campus on Tues. August 22nd. Delivered items MUST BE PICKED UP from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Simmons Hall on August 22.

Food Distribution Event w/ Akron Municipal Court
October 5, 2023 | 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. *while supplies last | 217 South High Street
This event is intended to serve a meal to the homeless and less fortunate, but all are welcome. Akron Municipal Court Judges, Torchbearers Members and the University of Akron Campus Cupboard Team will be serving the food.
Made possible by The Maynard Family Foundation, Swensons Drive-in, Hartville Potato Chips, Acme Fresh Market.
