Education and Training

Increase access to education through scholarships and supports; improve retention through university/industry connections; promote inclusivity in academia through training programs for underrepresented minority Ph.D. and post-docs; broaden participation through research experiences for high school teachers and students, and undergraduates; train students and faculty to evaluate commercialization opportunities for their innovations via the I-Corps program; improve the learning process in a holistic way for undergraduate and graduate students through development and/or implementation of relevant areas within the scholarship of teaching and learning; increase access through upskilling and reskilling industry employees for emerging technologies. All programs include assessment and evaluation to determine effectiveness of the efforts.
