PREPARED FOR OPPORTUNITY

Drake transferred to The University of Akron by way of Sacramento, CA. He was drawn to the Northeast Ohio university “because of the esteemed co-op program, affordable tuition and the university accepting almost all of my transfer credits.” Drake credits his participation in UA’s Increasing Diversity in Engineering Academics (IDEAs) program and the National Society for Black Engineers to his success as an engineering student.
