Biography

Makenna Liller is a dancer, teacher, choreographer, health coach and business owner from Youngstown, Ohio. Makenna started dancing at the age of 4 and hasn’t stopped since. She grew up dancing and competing at Jones Dance Academy and was trained in multiple styles including jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet, contemporary and lyrical. After graduating High School in 2014, Makenna became a company dancer at Millennium Dance Complex in Pittsburgh, PA where she traveled to Los Angeles and Chicago to perform and compete in multiple shows and competitions including World of Dance. When she turned 20, she packed up her life in Ohio and moved to Seattle, WA to continue her dance career. While in Seattle, she danced for many companies including the Westsiders under the direction of another JDA alumni, Hannah Gossett. Not only was she a company member and teacher at multiple studios, she also choreographed for shows in the Seattle area. After spending 3 years in Seattle, Makenna found her way back home to Ohio. In 2021, she graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a certified holistic health coach. At the beginning of 2023, she launched her dream business, Reverie Movement Collective- a dance and wellness company based in Youngstown and Cleveland. She teaches weekly and Jones Dance Academy and also travels to different studios in OH and PA to teach workshops. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, visiting coffee shops and spending time with her boyfriend, Paul and kitten, Flynn.
