COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS
Are you an academic high achiever? College Credit Plus (CCP) is a way for Ohio students in grades 7-12 to enroll at a college or university to earn both college and secondary school credit tuition FREE!
UPDATE: ACT results date
Please be advised, the summer/fall CCP application deadline is still April 15, however due to the cancelation of the April 4 National ACT, The University of Akron will be accepting results from the June 13 National ACT. (3/19/20)
The College Credit Plus program was created by the Ohio Legislature to allow students to enroll in a college or university to earn both college credit and credit for classes grades 7-12, tuition free.
Any Ohio students in grades 7-12 who are enrolled in any public, private, parochial, or home school are eligible for College Credit Plus.
The College Credit Plus program will help you get a head start to earning your degree faster and by potentially saving you money!
- To begin in the summer (May/June) or the fall semester (August) apply by April 15.
Please note: Due to the cancelation of the April 4 ACT, we will be accepting the results from the June 13 ACT.
- To begin in the spring semester (January) apply by Oct. 15.
