Join us on April 8, 2025, to spotlight scientific and artistic accomplishments.
The showcase of research and creative activities is open to all undergraduate students in BCAS, either by presenting a research poster, through performance, display, or by using a flash talk.
The event will be held in the UA Student Union. The judging period will be from 2 - 4 p.m., with awards at 4 p.m. Guests, visitors, and parents will be invited to join us from 4 - 5 p.m.

When people think about research and creativity at Akron, they might immediately think about the work of our faculty. But the lifeblood of these activities in BCAS is the work of our undergraduates, who collaborate with faculty and graduate students in every aspect of the creative process. This event is an opportunity to highlight the amazing work of undergraduate students across our college.
The event features a showcase of diverse and exceptional research and creative projects developed by our students. The afternoon includes various activities such as poster sessions, oral presentations, art exhibits, musical performances, and readings, all judged by university leadership. Students receive feedback from peers and faculty across different areas of study and engage in interdisciplinary discussions.
