Violinist Amos Fayette began his studies at the age of 2, made his solo debut at the age of 8, and has since enjoyed a diverse career as a soloist, orchestral musician, educator, and administrator. He has performed as a soloist with the Washington Heights Chamber Orchestra, New World Symphony, Mid-Atlantic Symphony, and the Orquesta Filarmonica de Medellin, presented recitals in the United States as well as internationally, and performed as guest concertmaster with Cleveland Opera Theater, Mid-Atlantic Symphony, Orchestra Iowa, and more. As an educator, Mr. Fayette has held teaching positions at the Center for Preparatory Studies in Music at Queens College Aaron Copland School of Music, New World School of the Arts, Miami-Dade College, and Cecil College. His students have appeared on NPR's From the Top and have gone on to study at such conservatories as Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Manhattan School of Music, Lynn University, and Northwestern University, among others. He is also one of the founding board members of the Washington Heights Chamber Orchestra and the former Milford Branch Director for the Music School of Delaware. In his spare time, Mr. Fayette can be found exploring the culinary landscape of Northeast Ohio and spending time with his family and their menagerie of pets. His violin was made by master luthier Edward Maday in 2012
