Biography

During my junior year of my undergrad at Kent State University, I took an entomology class. From catching and pinning beautiful insects, to learning about their anatomy and behavior, my interest in insects blossomed. After I obtained my Bachelor's of Science in Environmental Conservation Biology and entered the Master's of Biology program here at UA, my attention turned toward pollinators. With guidance from my advisor Dr. Randy Mitchell, I plan to investigate the potential for greenspaces adjacent to interstate exit ramps to be suitable habitats for Ohio pollinators, specifically bees. I'm thankful to UA for providing me with the resources I need to explore my research interests.
