Molly received her doctorate in 2022 in the Sociology graduate program at The University of Akron.  Within sociology her major areas are Criminology and Deviance.  Her specific areas of research interest are violence against women, particularly domestic violence and sex trafficking, and the workings of the criminal justice system.  She has presented her research at several local, regional, and national teaching, sociology, and criminology conferences.  As a graduate teaching assistant, she has taught Introduction to Sociology both in person and online.
