Dear Leadership Application Process Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in applying for a leadership role within Residence Life and Housing here at the University of Akron. Student staff In Residence Life and Housing are responsible for providing safe, secure, and educational living environment conducive to the academic and professional development of students. Residence hall staff members develop a high level of leadership ability and independent personal growth. It is a student staff members role to foster student's growth emotionally, socially, physically, vocationally, and spiritually. As well as be a guide during troubling times and someone they can come to with questions to get answers. Overall, these roles are vital to the growth of Residence Life as a whole and it is vital to have strong leaders within our department.
