
What will I learn?
The Bachelor of General Studies is a flexible degree designed for students seeking a degree that you can tailor to your professional and career interests.
The program follows the general education guidelines while also allowing students to exhibit intellectual interest across a broad range of college-level coursework.
This program is designed for a student with a diverse college background and varied educational interests that cannot be captured in a single program. Students will have the opportunity to experiment in a variety of academic subjects through a generous number of free electives.
Upon completion of this degree, students will have the following skills.
- Communication Skills: Communicate with clarity of purpose, depth, and precision so that one may advance professionally or apply to graduate programs.
- Critical Thinking: Demonstrate critical thinking and synthesis by integrating and applying specialized knowledge.
- Ethics and Societal Awareness: Demonstrate an ethical mindset and exercise professional responsibility in a social context.
- Organizational Skills: Develop and meet goals, engage in self-directed learning, and adapt to change (new approaches, methods, and technologies).
