Blueprint Reading
This comprehensive course covers the fundamentals of blueprint reading related to commercial construction and the construction of civil infrastructure. Participants learn how to interpret various types of blueprints, including architectural, structural, civil/site work, electrical, and mechanical drawings. There is also an overview of residential and highway plans.
Course Rationale
Mastering blueprint reading skills is essential for professionals in construction. Blueprints serve as the visual language of construction projects. Proficient readers can extract critical information about the design intent. Whether it’s a building renovation, a new roadway, electrical installations, or HVAC systems, accurate blueprint interpretation ensures that projects align with the intended specifications and details.
