Collecting is a universal practice that varies greatly from person to person. In The Collector, Logan Wood explores his own obsession with horror media, hunting culture, hand crafting, and picking apart his own psyche. Wood’s work reflects value in things that do not conform to typical societal norms. This installation represents an invasion of the private space of Wood’s alter ego, someone whose living environment is dominated by his collections of objects and the tools and processes he uses to make them.
