Biography

Mrs. Howe holds a B.A. in ballet from The University of Akron and an M.A. in Dance from the University of Iowa. Professionally, she has been a member of The St. Paul City Ballet and worked in the genre of Musical Comedy as a member of the St. Croix Valley Summer Theatre. As a teaching assistant for The University of Iowa and director of dance for The Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, Wisconsin, Mrs. Howe developed a deep passion for helping students learn ballet technique. Returning to the Akron area to raise a family, Mrs. Howe continued teaching in many schools throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania. Mrs. Howe is especially invested in The University of Akron and Dance Institute, teaching students of all ages and levels.
