Dominick Sorrent is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a Visual Communications and Advertising degree.
He has been a full-time staff member as a Graphic Design Instructional Support person at The University of Akron since January 2010 and an adjunct graphic design faculty member since 2009. He previously was a part-time teacher at Cuyahoga Community College for 12 years.
Dominick has been in the advertising and design industry for over 30 years, working with clients such as United States Steel, H.J. Heinz Company, Westinghouse, American Greetings and General Electric just to name a few.
During his advertising and design career, he gained a vast knowledge of the business as well as becoming an expert with Macintosh Computers, Graphic Design software and Database software.
His goals are to relay to higher-education students all that he has learned as a professional in the industry.
