Learning Outcomes for 3450:436/536 Math Models
Students are expected to be able to:
- Learn rescaling and non-dimensionalization
- Learn some of the basic ideas and procedures of mathematical modeling illustrated through the study of examples in mechanics, biology, chemistry, and other sciences
- Learn techniques for analyzing the nonlinear differential equations that arise in these examples.
