In conjunction with The University of Akron Rethinking Race 2020 and supported in part by The National Center for Choreography at The University of Akron (NCCAkron) and UA School of Dance, Theatre, and Arts Administration, Inlet Dance Theatre company member Dominic Moore-Dunson and NCCAkron Executive/Artistic Director Christy Bolingbroke will engage in an extended discussion about craft, creativity, and race in dance. It will take place in Guzzetta Hall 194 today, March 2, 2020 from 2:15-3:55 PM.

Then, on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, in Guzzetta Hall 194 today, March 2, 2020 from 2:15-3:55 PM, Moore-Dunson, creator of "The Black Card Project," will present a movement workshop and excerpt from the show, a live action dance theatre cartoon that examines the narrow definition of blackness and the African-American ideal of the “black card.”

Both events are free and open to the public.
