Women’s Studies Internship Program
An internship in Women’s Studies (3001: 489) is a great way to earn credits toward the Women’s Studies minor or certificate and gain experience applying what you have learned in your Women’s Studies classes. Tasks for a Women's Studies intern include assisting with research on feminism and women’s studies, assisting with tasks for the UA Women's Studies program, and assisting with creating classroom materials and activities. Interns receive hands on experience with professors in the program and learn to apply their knowledge from classes.
“My experience with the Women's Studies internship was exciting and taught me about research and feminist pop culture analysis. I loved working with Dr. Kvaran and she helped me to develop my research skills and abilities to study the world from a feminist theory perspective.”
- Sarah Urbank, former Women’s Studies intern
