UPP Students at the PCSAO Conference

Every fall, the Public Children’s Services from all 88 counties in the state hold a conference. This year the Public Children Services Association of Ohio (PCSAO) Conference was held September 27–29, 2017. Our Child Welfare University Partnership Program (UPP) students were invited to attend:

This was the first year students were able to select the day they wanted to attend. This resulted in the University of Akron students attending each day of the three-day conference. Students identified their own sessions to attend and were immersed in all the stimulating learning throughout their attendance. Each day a name was drawn from attendees to win a gift basket and one of our own won a gift basket on Thursday. It was a wonderful conference and it was an honor to have our university represented each day.
