Aspen Santa Fe Ballet
Professional Residency and Performance

World-Class Performance and Artist Residency with ASPEN SANTA FE BALLET

Performance:  October 5, 2015  3:00 PM

Residency:  October 6 – 9, 2014

Co-presented by DANCECleveland, E. J. Thomas Hall, and The University of Akron Dance Program

Known for its bold vision, top global choreographers, distinctive groundbreaking works and virtuoso dancers, the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet blends contemporary athleticism with classical ballet to provide a program filled with spine-tingling dance that has become the company's hallmark.

After the October 5 performance, the exciting partnership between DANCECleveland, E.J. Thomas Hall, and The University of Akron Dance Program then enables a multi-day residency program with Aspen Santa Fe Ballet at The University of Akron Dance Program.  As a result of such residencies, talented UA dance students are better prepared to move into the professional dance field – setting The University of Akron Dance Program apart and above many other college and university dance programs.

The UA Dance Program is committed to our community. As such, the residency experience is formally extended to local high school dancers and professional dancers in the greater Akron community so that the artistry of Aspen Santa Fe Ballet can be experienced by the broadest group possible.

Indeed, the ARTS start here.
