The CHP Kickoff 2019

The CHP Kickoff was successfully held on Friday, September 20, from 10 am -2 pm in the Student Union Ballroom A and B.
It was a carnival theme, with popcorn, cotton candy, snacks, arcade games, scavenger hunts, and over $500 in prizes and raffles. Free CHP t-shirts were given to the first 200 students who attended the event.

The seven schools in the College of Health Professions were present:

• Allied Health Technology
• Counseling
• Nursing
• Nutrition and Dietetics
• Social Work
• Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
• Sports Science and Wellness Education

Each School had a table to provide information about their programs and degrees. In addition, there were 12 different campus services such as Career Services, Financial Aid, Adult Focus, Student Health Services, and many others. Many of the CHP student organizations were present to offer information about our programs as well. This year, we featured a 40-foot bouncy obstacle course, free to all guests attending the kickoff.
