Stellic is your tool for checking your academic progress towards degree completion, as well as being used in the final degree clearance process. Students can access Stellic directly or as a quick link in MyAkron.
Based on your current academic record, the 'official' view of your progress tab in Stellic will display your academic requirements, including what requirements have been fulfilled and what needs to be satisfied in order to complete your degree. Please see your academic advisor if you have questions regarding the course requirements shown in Stellic.
Legal Name (Diploma)
Your LEGAL NAME will be used for the commencement program and your diploma. Navigate to the Names tab in the Personal section of your Workday Student Profile to see how your legal name will appear. If you wish to include your middle name or middle initial, and it is not currently documented in Workday, you will need to submit a Workday update with appropriate documentation.
Preferred Name (Program and Tassel)
Your PREFERRED NAME will be used for the commencement program and in Tassel, our commencement ceremonies platform. Navigate to the Names tab in the Personal section of your Workday Student Profile to see how your preferred name will appear and read. If you need to make changes, do so in Workday.
Diploma Mailing Address
Your printed diploma will be mailed to your PRIMARY HOME ADDRESS unless you have a Diploma Address in Workday. Navigate to the Contact section of your Workday Student Profile to add or update a diploma address or to verify the accuracy of your existing primary address.

You will NOT receive immediate notification that your graduation application was successfully submitted.
