July Safety Focus: BATTLE OF THE LABS 2.0

07/01/2019

CPSPE,

Welcome to the Battle of the Labs 2.0! (All labs required to participate)

The Battle of the Labs is back!! It’s lab cleaning time!! A friendly competition between labs and an introduction to 5S workplace organization system for efficiency and cleanliness. (Please see attached short PowerPoint presentation on the 5S system.)

This year we have implemented a Score Card (see attached) highest score is 100. I would like everyone to do a safety poster that is unique to the personality of your group and lab!

INSTRUCTIONS: As a group, designate a day in July to thoroughly clean your lab. Let me know when your lab is ready to be judged. Labs will be judged to win the following awards, only 1 award will be given per lab with the exception of Best Overall. All labs must be cleaned by July 30th and winners will be announced July 31st. See the safety focus poster in your area for the award categories.
