My research focuses on understanding the interaction of different organic molecules with mineral surfaces to study and understand the development of molecular complexity from a perspective of Surface Chemistry, Materials Science and Origin of Life. I have had the opportunity to carry out graduate studies and research stays in Brazil, Spain, and France.  I am currently associated as a postdoctoral researcher at University of Akron, School of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering under the direction of Dr. Nita Sahai. Finally, I share my research projects by generating science outreach content such as the podcast "Origin of Life, Planeteando".
