This form is used to provide The University of Akron the ability to review your qualifications and for you to express your interest in the University. By submitting the form, you are not authorized to act as representative or agent of The University of Akron unless and until a signed contract is in place between the parties.
Please note: The form cannot be saved while you write your responses. Prepare your answers in advance by referring to this list of questions.

Process:
- Your application will be reviewed by our Agency Review Committee. This committee meets a couple of times each semester, so it may take a number of weeks until you hear back from us.
- Once you are approved by the Agency Review Committee we will contact you to discuss contracts.

Application form for undergraduate students
- All applicants need to submit a NACES Evaluation along with their application. Applicants with university-level coursework must request a course-by-course NACES evaluation.
- International students are required to submit a NACES Evaluation. We accept evaluations from SpanTran, WES or ECE and other accredited members of NACES and AICE. Applicants with university-level coursework must request a course-by-course NACES evaluation.
- Note: At this time, international undergraduate students are not able to start classes during the summer. We admit for spring and fall only. Exceptions may apply. Contact us with specific questions.

English Language Institute (ELI)
- The English Language Institute has reopened for students with conditional admission.
- No additional application required. Students who are academically eligible but who do not meet the English Language requirement will automatically receive admission to ELI.
