IGB and the Confucius Institute presents China week keynote speaker Dr. Craig Seidelson

On October 15, 2019 IGB in collaboration with Confucius Institute invited China week keynote speaker Dr. Craig Seidelson to speak on an interesting topic, "The Origins and Impact of the Present US-China Trade Situation"

The session was approximately 75 mins long and was open to all students and faculty members.

Dr. Seidelson is an Operations and Supply Chain professor at the University of Indianapolis where he teaches a course entitled Manufacturing in China. Much of this course is based on his 16 years in China setting up and managing factories. He is currently on the board of the America China Society of Indiana and will be presenting his latest research on Chinese design methods at the Pratt Institute's 14th Annual Design Principles and Practices Conference in Brooklyn, NY. Outside of teaching and research, Dr Seidelson's work with First Bridge Consultancy involves helping US companies with Chinese manufacturing and sourcing. This summer he installed Chinese equipment in a US factory and last summer he installed US equipment in a Chinese factory.
