Help us tell our extended Zips family how much we wish they were here to celebrate Homecoming with us! All you have to do is follow the steps listed below, and be sure to hashtag #UAwish!
Download your sign, or look for them around campus!
- Fill in the blank with the name of someone you wish was celebrating homecoming with you. For example:Best friend at another college, friends back home, colleagues, friends still in high school, siblings, cousins, and, yes, even MOM!
- Hold up the sign, take a photo, and post to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram!
- Give a shoutout to your friend, mention @uakron and hashtag #UAwish
- Post your photos by Oct. 5, 2013 – Homecoming!

Post your photo to our Facebook timeline https://www.facebook.com/UniversityofAkron
- Tag the name of the person you “wish were here.”
- Include #UAWish in your post.
Twitter
- Tweet us your photo @uakron
- Mention the twitter handle of the person you “wish were here.”
- Include #UAWish in your tweet.
- Sample tweet: Hey @followtheroo, wish you were here! @uakron #UAWish
